MAURY MARCANO
Maury began her career on set when she was 20 years old. She worked as A.D. and creative assistant with international directors such as the Oscar winner Armando Bo, Andy Fogwill, Antonio Balseiro and Tomi Diéguez.
Her first long documentary as director: THE WAY WE CAME was premiered at Guadalajara and recognized in the most important international film festivals in the world such us Cuba, New York and Montreal.
With a strong sense of aesthetic and storytelling, her favorite topics are women sensitivity, crossed-cultures and all that together.
Nowadays, she is based in Indonesia and is writing her first feature fiction film, a story between two women, one western one asian, building a new point of view about feminism.
